Moving On Employment Project Ltd is holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) next week, and we’d love for you to join us.
Date: Wednesday 24th September 2025
Time: 5.30pm
Location: Conference Room, Market House, Lerwick
The AGM is an opportunity to learn more about what Moving On has been doing over the past year, our plans for the future, and the ongoing impact we are making in helping young people in Shetland move towards work, training, and education.
We are always keen to welcome new people onto our Board. Being a Trustee or Board Member is a rewarding way to get involved in supporting local young people and helping shape the future of our charity.
What does it involve?
Trustees and Board Members help guide the organisation, making sure we:
Stay true to our aims and values
Use our funding wisely and keep the charity financially stable
Support staff and volunteers in their work
Keep within charity law and good practice
Plan for the future and look at new opportunities
You don’t need to have previous board experience. We want to see enthusiasm, integrity, and a willingness to get involved. Everyone brings different skills, and we value fresh ideas and perspectives.
If you want to learn more about the AGM, please do get in touch.
