I joined the Moving On board because of a longtime passion for helping young people to discover their own potential. I started working in Harry’s Department Store when I was a teenager and their support later in life gave me the opportunity to achieve a degree and move into a management role. For me, this really highlighted the importance of building networks and skills as a young person and my belief that all young people deserve the chance to do so only continues to grow.
I’ve been a supporter of MOEP’s mission for a number of years now- joining the board has felt like a natural step to help support other young people in growing their confidence and experience, and to hopefully aid in opening doors for others.
